Meet Melissa Hessney Masters, the visionary behind Tanglebloom — @tanglebloom. In 2023, Melissa embarked on her journey, germinating Tanglebloom’s roots from a humble patch of grass. With an unwavering commitment to offering exquisite blooms cultivated through eco-conscious practices, Melissa’s mission is to ensure her flowers not only captivate the eye but also nurture both humanity and our precious planet.
Through her floral arrangements, she seeks to craft narratives that speak of the changing seasons and the enchanting landscapes they inhabit.
Fast forward a few years, Melissa unveiled a captivating glamping-style farm retreat, nestled in an open-air cabin discreetly tucked within a sylvan grove on the farm, aptly named Tanglebloom Tiny Cabin — @tanglebloom_cabin.
Tailored for couples and solo wanderers, this idyllic farm stay has emerged as a seasonal haven for urbanites yearning to unwind and reconnect with the natural world.
Melissa pioneered Vermont’s first-ever Flower CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. Tanglebloom Tiny Cabin has earned its place among Airbnb’s coveted ‘Most WishListed’ properties, a testament to its enchanting allure.
Today, the farm pivots towards immersive experiences and educational pursuits, focusing on cultivating flowers on a more intimate scale, particularly peonies that bloom in June, complemented by flourishing cutting and vegetable gardens.
Beyond her role as a steward of Tanglebloom, Melissa wears another hat as a Certified Life and Business Coach. She collaborates with purpose-driven entrepreneurs, guiding them in creating and nurturing businesses that harmonise seamlessly with their core values.
